Who is this event for?
This event is for children ages 0-4 and their loving adults. Parents, grandparents, and other special adults are welcome to join with your little ones. The Play Group is designed to be a special space for babies, toddlers, and young preschoolers who can sometimes be overwhelmed by big kids (ages 5-7) at other indoor playgrounds and play spaces around the Twin Cities. By hosting this event at The Play Group, we honor their mission and vision to give those youngest kiddos their own sacred space.
We actively welcome and encourage of mixed faith backgrounds and believe that not all members of any family need to be Jewish in order to build a loving and vibrant Jewish home.
What else do I need to know?
We'll provide a light kid-friendly meal for the little ones so that families can transition home easily to bedtime after the event. Adults are certainly welcome to enjoy the kid-food but may also want to prepare for their own adult meal later in the evening.
Registration is required and we ask for a donation in any amount to help us cover the costs of the event, including the reservation of the space, food, and staff time. Thank you for supporting this new model of building Jewish community in public spaces.
